Mary Ann Morrice
Cape & Islands United Way – Volunteer Leadership Giving Liaison
After spending more than 25 years in financial services at Putnam Investments, Mary Ann is delighted to bring her client service, marketing and sales experience to bear on behalf of the Cape and Islands United Way, and those we serve.
Mary Ann has been involved with the Cape and Islands United Way since 2009 with the launch of the Founders’ Circle, our premier level of leadership giving. She has had the privilege of working in partnership with several of our existing Founders to grow this giving circle to more than 50 members since inception. She serves as the volunteer membership director or relationship manager for existing Founders and, along with Barbara Milligan, is responsible for communication with the members, ongoing development and cultivation to sustain and grow the circle, events, and collateral related to the Founders’ Circle and the umbrella leadership giving structure, the Sand Dollar Leadership society. Mary Ann also serves on the Community Investment Committee and the Best Night Committee and has been heavily involved in many other projects and initiatives during her tenure. Mary Ann believes strongly in civic responsibility and is committed to the mission of the Cape and Islands United Way.
Previously, Mary Ann served on the Board of the South Boston Neighborhood House for five years. This was a treasured childhood respite for her Dad and his siblings and she was honored to have the opportunity to help them in return.
Mary Ann and her husband, Charlie, live in Barnstable Village. She has two stepsons and four grandchildren.
