The Cape and Islands United Way, with the support of Cape Cod 5, hosted a day long training on Results-Based Accountability (RBA) for local non-profits and local funders. The training brought together a mix of organizations from across the Cape and the Islands to learn about collective impact, achieving positive results and increasing accountability. The training featured a national expert in Results –Based Accountability who focused the group on forming relationships and ‘out of the box’ thinking about achieving and communicating the good work of their organizations. RBA uses simple language to describe and assess program effectiveness. The Cape and Islands United Way uses RBA in its Community Impact grant process.
